Yes, you can do that.

Our issue specifically related to 1.1.0k Its interesting you have seen
a similar/the same issue with 1.1.1c.
By all means try it against 1.1.1d. I think we would all be very
interested to see if you have a similar/same issue when building
against 1.1.1d.
