Yes, it's supported. (you'll get a cert error on that connect, ironically)

Assume my mailbox provider offers only SMTP delivery over STARTTLS (and not pure SSL).

How do I have configure stunnel to cope with this protocol?

Lets say the remote smtp server would be

smtp.foobar.com:587

How would a service section in conf file look like?
