So I now need to sell stunnel to those that make decisions. It would be helpful to get an understanding of how widely deployed it is. Sorry, we're not a banking/financial firm. SURFnet, the NREN (national research and educational network) of the Netherlands (the 'higher-ed ISP', ~170 sites, ~750.000 end-users), uses stunnel in its' operational environment. We've got a thing called 'stunnel-in-the-box' under development which makes using stunnel easier for the mere-mortal.
