    Thanks again Pierre, with V 5.03 I had installed Stunnel in a
    non-system directory named "bin\stunnel" in the root of the C:
    drive, which contained the stunnel.conf and stunnel executable
    files.  Permissions were set for full access by "everyone".  5.03,
    as a service, would still not read the CONF file.  I very much
    appreciate your assistance!<br>

      You will find that in the code itself...<br>
      By default the conf file should be located in the "current"
      directory : ie where the executable is.<br>
      <br>
      But, if you have placed the stuff in "c:\program files..." this
      folder may have specific access rights that prevent a service to
      read from it.<br>
      <br>
      This is why I suggest that you retry v5.03 with giving "read
      access to everyone" on that folder and any file inside.<br>

        Thanks for the reply Mike.  I scoured the documentation and was
        unable to find how to point the service to any specific
