I hope that works. In regards to keeping it running, I don't know if
there's something equivalent but in Unix (Solaris/HPUX/Linux/etc.) I used
to use a program called "screen" that you could detach the screen but it
kept running in the background. It was really useful over dialup,
especially if the connection was dropped. After the connection dropped, you
would re-establish a connection to the server and then "re-attach" the
session and everything was there in the same manner before you left. I
don't know if this is the same method but I did see this with a Google
