"IPv6" means that IPv6 support is compiled in your stunnel.

"stunnel 4.09" above means that you use a very old, obsolete version of
stunnel.  Please upgrade.

Specify explicitely IPv6 addresses, here.

Please send your *stunnel* log files (I guess you're logging to syslog).
