That's a normal part of the SSL protocol.  Nothing to worry about.

That means your rsync client or server has closed the connection.

FD_SETSIZE is a limitation of select(2) function.  See the manual for 
details.
New stunnel 4.06 will be able to use poll(2) function instead.

This is strange.  Stunnel should not close the SSL connection without 
sending close_notify message first.
